Rudolph Modesto Navari, M.D, Ph.D, FACP, is a hematologist/oncologist for the Gadsden Cancer Clinic, Hematology and Oncology Associates of Alabama, LLC. He has almost 50 years of specialized experience in diagnosing and treating blood disorders and cancer.
Dr. Navari holds a medical degree from the Medical College of Viriginia as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees and a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He completed his medical internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Navari has served as a physician and administrator at multiple healthcare facilities throughout his illustrious career, including Baptist Medical Center-Princeton, Bessemer Carraway Medical Center, Northern Indiana Oncology Associates, the Birmingham VA Medical Center and Cooper Green Health Center.
Dr. Navari has been active in academia having worked as a professor, director and associate dean at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend and the UAB School of Medicine.
He has also worked with the World Health Organization as the Director of the Cancer Care Program in Eastern Europe, Central America and South America.
A member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. Navari continues his long career by providing hope, care and the best possible outcomes to his patients.
