Candace Roberts, CRNP has worked with patients at HOAA Gadsden Cancer Clinic for more than a dozen years. She has served as outpatient chemotherapy infusion room supervisor and infusion room team leader. Today she leads the entire medical team as clinic director. Before her time at Gadsden Cancer Clinic, she worked as a charge nurse at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Candace holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama Birmingham and a bachelor’s in nursing from Jacksonville State University. She also holds a bachelor’s in exercise science and wellness from Jacksonville State University.
Candace is a member of the American Association of Nursing Practitioners, Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology and the Oncology Nursing Society.
As a well-respected oncology nurse practitioner, Candace has been asked to present to the National Cancer Registrar Association on “Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, The Basics and Advancements of Immunotherapy and Targeted Therapy” and “Advances in Breast Cancer Treatment.”
